What we're looking for

We are seeking a dynamic staff engineer to operate across our entire tech stack in order to deploy and adapt LastMile AI technology for enterprise customers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of a customer, including building POCs, building data connectors and other customer-specific components that are needed to deploy LastMile technology for enterprises.

You will work with the rest of the engineering team to improve the platform and be an advocate for customer workflows. You must be comfortable working across the entire tech stack (frontend, backend, ML).

Your role is critical for the success of our company in achieving its mission and providing the best possible service to our customers. As the key point of contact between our team, technology and customers, you will be responsible for ensuring our company's success in growing revenue.

To achieve this, you will have a diverse and exciting set of roles that encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Develop proof-of-concepts for specific customers, working closely with them to understand their needs and goals and come up with solutions that meet their requirements.
• Build data connectors and other customer-specific components necessary to deploy LastMile technology for enterprises, requiring a deep understanding of the technology and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering team members.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance the platform and advocate for customer workflows, with a thorough understanding of customer needs and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
• Work across the entire tech stack (frontend, backend, ML) to solve problems for customers, requiring a broad knowledge of the technology and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Collaborate with PMs and designers to ensure customer success, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• An exceptional generalist engineer (staff IC with 7+ years of experience) who is comfortable operating in many different technology stacks.
• Coding machine archetype.
• Good communication skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York.
