About the Role

We are looking for a Senior ML Engineer to lead our ML efforts for AI Agents. You will be responsible for leading our ML research and incorporating these learnings to our products.. Additionally, you will work with the infrastructure team to build systems that efficiently and deploy the latest ML technologies at scale. You will also educate the team on the latest ML research and identify opportunities to advance our ML expertise.

Key Responsibilities

You will be operating at the cutting edge of AI research, tasked with solving the hardest ML problems on the team, sometimes with no well-defined answers.

• Work with the infrastructure team to build tuning and inference layers that can scale to handle large amounts of data and ensure good performance.
• Be the person on the team who helps LastMile stay current on state-of-the-art research and best practices. This involves organizing internal learning sessions, curating external resources and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Grow and build an ML engineering team as we scale up.

Nice to Have

• Graduate degree in relevant discipline is preferred.
• Open-source contributions in ML and engineering communities.
